ALDI’s aisle of specials is chock full of some of the best stocking stuffers and last-minute gift ideas.  Here are 10 special treats I’m stuffing stockings with.

1. Choceur Marzipan Logs

I buy Choceur marzipan logs for stocking stuffers every year. These 3.53-ounce logs are coated with dark or milk chocolate, and they only cost $2.69 each. Alas, I usually end up buying about 10 of them, and unless I hide them, my husband and son will eat ALL of them way before I even get their stockings out of storage.

And no wonder! These German chocolate delights—they’re made in Germany—are made with just ground almonds, sugar, and chocolate. I think you could probably bake with them, but they’ve never lasted that long in my house.

2. Choceur Candy Cane Chocolate Covered Almonds

The next runner up on my list is a new discovery: Choceur candy cane chocolate covered almonds. An eight-ounce bag of these beauties costs only $3.49, and good luck getting them into stockings, as they’re oh-so-tasty. The almonds are first coated in dark chocolate, then white chocolate, then rolled in crushed peppermint candies. If you work in an office and have a treat bowl, they’d also be perfect fillers.

3. Specially Selected Mini Nougat Bars

The Specially Selected variety pack of soft mini nougat bars is another new find. Four bars cost $4.99, and they come in four flavors: strawberry, chocolate stracciatella, pistachio, and amaretti cookies. They’re imported from Italy, and you can stuff a whole variety pack into a stocking, or just drop individual nougat bars into each stocking. They’re made of soft, pillowy, chewy nougat studded with each flavor.

4. Choceur Melting Figures

I also absolutely adore the Choceur melting snowman and melting penguin, available for $2.49 each. These are darling white or milk chocolate figures filled with marshmallows or marshmallows and dark chocolate drops, and they’re basically hot cocoa bombs. Just heat up a cup of milk and pour it over the snowman or the penguin in a mug, stirring until they melt. They’re adorable and delicious.

5. Choceur Hot Cocoa Bombs

If you have children or relatives who might get spooked by melting a cute chocolate figure, you could instead buy the Choceur hot cocoa bombs. A pack of three costs $5.99. The flavors are white chocolate with milk chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, white chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle, milk chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows, and milk chocolate with milk chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

6. Specially Selected Orange Fig Fruit Spread

If you are filling a stocking with cheese and charcuterie—and yes, this is a perfect stocking for a cheese lover—you have to pick up some Specially Selected Orange Fig fruit spread. This beautiful and delicious jam costs only $2.99, and it will add elegance to any cheese or charcuterie spread.

7. Benton's Music Tin With Sugar Cookies

One of the cutest stuffers is the Benton’s music tin with sugar cookies. For $6.59, you get a tin that’s actually a music box. It comes in four different colors with four different melodies: red (Winter Wonderland), blue (Jingle Bells), white (Let It Snow), and green (O’ Christmas Tree). Besides being a fun stocking stuffer, this would also make a great host gift.

8. Benton's Fudge-Covered Peppermint Cremes

Last, I always pick up these three peppermint and chocolate stuffers. The first is Benton’s fudge-covered peppermint cremes. For $3.49, you get a package of what is kind of like chocolate-covered peppermint Oreos. They’re topped with peppermint sprinkles, and they’re my husband’s favorite.

9. Choceur Peppermint Bark

Next, Choceur Peppermint Bark comes in white or dark chocolate, and a 7-ounce package costs only $4.49.

10. Choceur Peppermint Cookie Clusters

Lastly, there are Choceur peppermint cookie clusters, which are basically dark chocolate peppermint bark mixed with cookie bits and filled with caramel. They're decadent. My mother-in-law LOVES peppermint and chocolate, so she’s getting all three of these last stocking stuffers in her stocking this year.
